This week our lecture phase is on discipleship, and we're two days in now, and once again, our speaker is really good, and we're learning a lot. Tonight our class had a meeting and we were spoken to about the different committee options we could be involved in. There is the ministry team, fundraising, and building. The whole class will be involved with all three but the committees are just there to plan the events, dates, etc. I felt led to be on fundraising, so thats where I am. We are to raise 45,000 rand, which is approximately $6400 canadian. It is a lot of money, but we know that God has made this school happen, and that he will provide. We're building a home for an orphaned family, which we hope to have completed before we leave for outreach in December. We are also buying school uniforms for 10 children, then for another 10 children school supplies, and also 10 food parcels for families. Raising these funds will be difficult seeing as we are in a nation that is not financially well off, and we're all students so we don't have the funds to contribute fully ourselves. Your prayer support in creative, and effective fundraising ideas for my group would be really appreciated. Miss and love you all!
